The competition is open to all Australian residents and all New Zealand residents. |

During the term of the competition, upon purchase of any of the following Bead Girl
Bead Packs: Bead Party item number 29562, Glass Beads item number 39570, Beach
Party item number 39571, or Xmas Bead Party item number 39572, an individual can
either complete an entry form and attach a copy of the receipt of purchase and post
their entry to Semco ‘Ultimate Bead Party Experience’. PO BOX 2629, Taren Point, New
South Wales 2229 or entrants can submit their entry online at www.semco.com.au by
following the link to ‘Ultimate Bead Party Experience’. Entrants must retain proof of
purchase to claim any prize. Each individual will be entitled to one entry for every Bead
Pack purchased. The costs associated with entering the competition are the responsibility
of the entrant. |

All entries shall become the property of the Promoter and no information as to the
quantity of entries shall be provided to any entrant. Entry details will be kept confidential
and not forwarded on to third parties.

Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, the Promoter and its
associated agencies and companies are ineligible to win any prize. |

The competition commences at 8.00am AEDST on Thursday, 20 September 2007 and
closes at 5.00pm AEDST on Friday, 28 December 2007.

The barrel prize draw will take place at Semco Crafts Head Office, 4/7-11 Parraweena
Road, Taren Point, New South Wales, 2229 at 10.00am AEDST on Monday, 14 January
2008. The draw result is final and no correspondence will be entered into. |

The winners will be notified where possible by telephone on the day of the draw,
and in writing as far as practicable within two business days and no more than five
business days after the date of the draw. The name of the winners will be published in
“The Australian” newspaper and on the Internet at www.semco.com.au on Monday, 21
January 2008. |

The winners consent to their name, town/suburb of residence and a photo being published
by the Promoter including being published on its Internet site, as condition of acceptance
of the prize. Further information will be published only with the permission of the winners. |

If any prize is not claimed within 3 months of the draw date, an unclaimed prize draw
will be conducted at 10.00am AEST on Monday, 28 April 2008 at 4/7-11 Parraweena
Road, Taren Point, New South Wales 2229, subject to any written directions given under
Regulation 37 of the Lottery and Gaming Regulations 1993 (SA). The draw result is final
and no correspondence will be entered into. In the event of any winners, their names
will be published in “The Australian” newspaper on Monday, 5 May 2008. |

The first entry drawn will win the major prize of a holiday to the Gold Coast, Queensland,
Australia for four (2 adults and 2 children under the age of 12 years) comprising return
economy airfares from the winner’s nearest capital city, six nights accommodation at
a Gold Coast Apartment Resort/Hotel quad share, return shuttle service between Gold
Coast airport and the Gold Coast accommodation, and admission passes for 2 adults and
2 children to Movie World, Sea World, Dream World and Wet & Wild theme parks. The
holiday prize is valued at up to AUD$4,000.00 (total prize value is dependent upon the
cost of airfares from the winner’s nearest capital city). For the duration of the main prize
travel, any person under 18 years of age must be accompanied by their nominated
parent(s) or legal guardian(s) at all times. Major prize winner will also receive a
‘Host your own Bead Party Pack’ valued at up to $500.00. Total major prize is valued
at up to AUD$4,500.00. |

Frequent flyer points, or anything equivalent, will not form part of the prize. Entrants
acknowledge that blackout periods may apply during peak travel periods. The winner
may be required to present a credit card at the time of accommodation check in. |

The major prize is subject to availability. Travel must be redeemed prior to 29
September 2008 and travel must be completed by 30 December 2008. No extension
will be given. The Promoter must be given at least 60 days notice of the preference for
time period the winner would like to travel. |

The next ten valid entries on the basis of jurisdiction (WA, SA, QLD, NSW, VIC, TAS, ACT,
NT and New Zealand) will each receive a runner-up prize and will win a ‘Host Your Own
Bead Party Pack’ comprising:
• Set up instructions for hosting your own Bead Party;
• 10 Bead Girl Party Packs;
• Beading materials;
• Project ideas and instructions;
• Beading tips and helpful hints.
The total of each prize is valued at up to AUD$500.00. There is one pack to be won per
State and Territory and two packs to be won in New Zealand. If no entry is received in
a particular jurisdiction, that prize will become null and void. |

The prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. |

If for any reason the competition is not capable of running as planned, subject to
the approval of those authorities which have issued permits for the conduct of this
competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate,
modify or suspend the competition, including disqualifying any individual who tampers
with the entry process. |

In the event that any prize, or part of any prize, is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the
right to substitute the prize or part of the prize, in its discretion, to the same and equal
recommended retail value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from
the relevant State and Territory Lottery Departments. |

The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, communications line failure,
theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries. Any entry that is
deemed incomplete, indecipherable or illegible by the Promoter will be invalid. The Promoter
is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any equipment, software,
failure of any email or entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical
problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof,
including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or
resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this competition. |

The Promoter will take all reasonable steps to ensure that entries are properly recorded
and stored, but will accept no liability if an entry is not recorded or is lost. |
| 19 |
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited
to indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained arising from or in
connection with the competition, any omission to enter a person into the draw, acceptance of
the prize or the prize itself, except for liability which cannot be excluded by law. |
